Alessi: Stories of Industrial Culture in the New Fall/Winter Collection

Launched at Maison & Objet in Paris earlier this year, international brand, Alessi, is pleased to introduce their new Fall / Winter Collection for 2017.

Among the newest additions for the season, you will find the “architectural” salt, pepper and spice grinder called “Grind”, designed by William Alsop and Federico Grazzini as well as the innovative limewood centrepiece “ES14” – a homage to the Italian design maestro “Ettore Sottsass” – and the tableware collection “Extra Ordinary Metal”, a new interpretation of the metal surface through the use of brass. The new products tell stories of industrial culture, craftsmanship, age-old techniques and a special anniversary and the research that Alessi carries out constantly to promote the most advanced cultural, aesthetic and functional quality in its design vision is clearly visible in this collection.

For a number of years Alessi has been gathering together a rich array of steel items in its “Objets-Bijoux” collection that stand out for their expert metal processing. A selection of these products is now presented in a new shade: the refined “Golden Pink” tone, which makes these functional little inventions even more precious and brilliant. Eight items have been chosen: the “Chestnut” pill box, the “Minou” handbag table hook, the “tripod” trivet, the “Pes” paper knife, the “Nut Splitter” nutcracker, the “Bulla” bottle opener, the “Pip” key-ring and the brand new “Shot” hip flask.

New areas of the home decor are explored and revealed thanks to the contribution of a varied group of designers, and illustrious representatives of the architecture and contemporary design scene. For Alessi, doing business means encouraging the spread of cosmopolitan knowledge through the design of its objects and acting in the interest of society by acting in the interest of the company.
