Ninho believe that the nursery should be a seamless extension of the rest of your home – conveying the same aesthetic, style and attention to detail. And then, it’s just a matter of selecting those fundamental pieces – a beautiful crib, a changing table, a welcoming rocking chair, custom bedding – and some sweet accents that will make your baby’s room uniquely their own.
When it came to Emma’s nursery, the rules were no different. The nursery reflects the personality of the client, and flows well within the home.
The colour palette for the room are copper accents paired with blushes and dark charcoals. A dark floral wallpaper was used on the feature wall and the name ‘Emma’ added in copper letters as focal point. Ninho customised their Quadro compactum, adding copper legs to match the room palette and to compliment the copper Canopy crib. Their Alto bookshelf remained in white to keep a bit of lightness in the room, as well as the white fur rug in the center of the room.“Emma’s mommy wanted something modern and whimsical with touches of gold or copper, touches of black and some floral elements. Her home is beautifully decorated and has a specific style that reflects her personality. So I wanted to keep the nursery a style suited to her taste and fits within her home. Something different and bespoke. I brought in black into the wallpaper design (the dark floral) and the rocking chair which was done in a black velvet with copper legs.” A custom hand-carved bunny lamp. Bespoke metal side-tables. Royal rocking chair in black velvet with copper legs, generously tufted and infinitely inviting, paired with a blush coloured footrest. Emma’s nursery translated mommies dreams and brought them to life, a space in which Emma will experience the world; where she can laugh, play and dream in.
