Lifta SA offers two varieties of Home Lift – the Duo and Trio Home Lift. The Duo, capable of taking two passengers between floors, has the smallest footprint on the residential market – just 0.8m². The wheelchair-friendly Trio’s footprint, capable of carrying an additional person as well, is only 1.3m².

Home Lifts operate by way of a normal residential 220V plug – no three-phase power required.
No lift shaft is required – this will result in substantial construction cost saving and far less construction work therefore less mess, dust and discomfort to clients;
No need for pit room and motor room
The lifts can be installed retrospectively – ie after the house has been built and can be installed within 2 days. This allows the client the opportunity to find the best possible location for their lift to ensure that it complements the home’s look and feel.

If load shedding or power failure occur while the Home Lift is in operation, the battery backup will allow the lift to safely travel down to the lowest level to allow you to safely and easily exit the unit. Due to the low power requirements of Home Lifts, a small inverter can supply required power to ensure that the lift can operate during load shedding.
