Plascon’s Colour of the Month: Urban Rock
It’s August and Women’s Month in Mzansi: A time to embrace all the rocking sisters out there who are making it work and making it count. Wives, moms, lovers, bosses, grannies, daughters and aunties. Plascon believes in women empowerment and your choice to be the woman you want to be. That’s why they are all about Urban Rock (B4-E1-2) this month, a grounding colour that gives you the space to choose your own path.

As a touchpoint to start or end your day, having a space painted in Urban Rock will leave you grounded and prepared for anything that comes your way.
Incorporating Urban Rock in your home is a cinch. Go with the monochromatic look in your kitchen or introduce it to your entrance way to leave you with a ‘go you good thing, go’ feeling. Colour certainly has the power to sway our feelings, enhance a mood and create a stylish, intimate setting. Urban Rock ticks all the right boxes!

Remember: We are Women!
Do we celebrate how far we have come since the march of 1956? As women, what happens next?
A recent poll asked women what they believe the purpose of Women’s Month is: 58% said that it is there to uplift women, 24% said it is just more meaningless marketing, and 14% said it has no meaning.
Whether you believe we have something to celebrate during Women’s month or not, each of us owes it to ourself to love, honour and celebrate our own womanhood.
Start by surrounding yourself with colours that are uplifting. Urban Rock is totally rocking our world at the moment; not only for the beauty of the colour and what it does, but also because it has a beautifully rock-solid name.
Let us know what you surround yourself with during this August, and what Women’s Day means to you.
