Plascon House Tour: Small Apartment High On Style
Smaller homes often mean greater planning to suit your needs and style. This tiny apartment, however, ticks all the right boxes and we can certainly learn a trick or two (or three) from the designers who have carefully plotted every space!
A neutral colour palette often works wonderfully in a small space. You can easily change it up with different accessories and colours and truly customise your home according to your changing preferences. In this earthy apartment, we love the textured walls that draw us in and give this home an industrial chic feel. A mix of textures and materials add depth and definition to this otherwise monotone colour palette.
To maximise the space in the dining room, an extended bench is placed on the back wall as added seating that doubles as storage. A floating shelf brings style and storage and we love the playful mix of accent decor used here!
The living room is beautifully styled in a mix of greys and carefully curated decor that works well in this small space. A painted circle on the wall adds instant style here – becoming a feature behind the couch and carefully adorned with a mix of mirrors for an eclectic layered look.
The neutral theme extends to the bathroom where a beautiful gold circled mirror stands out as a winning feature in this space. Tall cupboards are built into the wall for added essential bathroom storage and a simple wooden ladder and a few baskets create additional storage space in this interesting bathroom.
The open plan bedroom and bathroom are bright and modern. We love how the built-in feature bed doubles as storage and works as a little reading nook by day! Ample storage surrounds the bed and natural light pours in through open windows. A freestanding tub is gorgeous here!
