Plascon House Tour: Keeping it Light, Cool and Scandi

A converted Victorian bakery is given a new lease on life in this gloriously light, bright and a calming Scandinavian apartment. It’s all about a laid back, calming and sophisticated style that makes this home a refreshing Scandi space.

Bespoke wood joinery, solid wood chevron flooring, open living spaces and ample light add to the overall aesthetic in this stylish abode.

Soothing colours and natural elements bring a sense of serenity to this home. We love the beautiful custom-designed joinery that adds warmth to the living spaces and kitchen.

This significant kitchen and dining area with its dramatic bespoke dark oak units, has a central island measuring nearly four metres long and an expansive table that can welcome up to 14 guests.

A large living room is brought to life, again, with custom wooden installation, modern lighting and a display of art and decor. Light colours add to the air of simplicity in this room.

The bedrooms too, take on a calming ambience in neutral colours and ample natural lighting. Simplicity is key here. It’s a relaxing place to sleep and enjoy the pleasures of contemporary living but the room also provides ample storage and some key design elements, such as a low-hanging bedside light and stylish artwork above the bed.

Things are kept clean, streamlined and simple in the bathroom. Here Carrara marble is mixed with black brassware to give a slice of drama to this classic and beautiful design. The gorgeous matte black sanitaryware and marble also lend a sense of glamour and elegance to this master ensuite.

Overall, this home is an idyllic space for tranquility and contemporary living. We love the light freshness of each room with delicate wooden touches throughout.
