Plascon House Tour: A Bold Boston City Loft
City loft living is all the rage. It’s urban and edgy and provides the perfect space to experiment with your creative side. Step inside this bold Boston city loft and be inspired by the unexpected Art Deco style.
Grey sets the backdrop for this innovative open plan loft. From the ceiling to the walls, shades of grey create a neutral and calm setting for modern living. We love the open plan concept which captures the eye with pops of art, colour and beautiful Art Deco styling.
The loft feels modern with a city-glam vibe that is mixed with interesting art, natural elements and open space for entertaining.
We love the bold use of captivating artwork which infuses this apartment with life and colour. The industrial finishes, including ceiling ducts painted in grey, become an urban backdrop to the funky use of colour, art and textured furniture here.
Beautiful bold lighting is another great feature in this space. Not one, but two globe chandelier installation are suspended above a contemporary dining space, complete with gorgeous yellow upholstered seating and an entire gallery wall of inspired artwork in bright tones. A beautiful eclectic space which celebrates a mix of materials, from glass and mirror to plush fabrics, metallic accents and wooden flooring.
The kitchen feels rich and grounded, thanks to the depth of wooden tones featured in the cabinetry. Dark countertops and modern appliances are offset by the rich wood hues and neutral grey walls. Metallic accents with a hint of blue shine through here, as evident in those retro yet inspired bar stools. These seats are simply divine in brushed brass metal covered in marine blue leather. The city-glam vibe is also enhanced here with clever tiling above the upper cabinets to mimic a cityscape under the night sky.
The bedroom certainly boasts a glamorous touch with crystal chandelier, bold mirror installations on either end of the bed, as well as a beautifully rich and inspired headboard in deep purple tones.
