Plascon House Tour: A Glam Scandi Home with Bursts of Blue
Fresh, modern and ultra glamorous. Today’s home is a beautiful mix of Scandinavian style and an urban trendy ambience. It’s hard to believe that this stylish retreat was once a pub and an Indian restaurant before being converted into this magical residence.
We love that the living spaces are bright and modern with quirky touches such as a cracked mirror console, animal horn art on the walls and playful touches of blue that are sprawled throughout the interior.
Tones of blue knit the entire design scheme together, adding to the bold freshness of this home that pops against the white walls. Hints of brass, fur and wooden accents join together to bring a beautiful textural quality to the living rooms.
The kitchen with exposed white rafters is sleek and urban. A luxe feel is added with marble counters and the entire space feels bright and inviting with fold-away doors on the one end of this space that draws light right through the interior.
Of course, hints of blue continue into this pristine space. A gorgeous rug in matching tones ties it all together and beautiful aqua dining chairs add to the glam factor of this space.
The formal seating area contains a chic handmade coffee table, white velvet armchairs and a Neisha Crosland rug. And how gorgeous is that retro blush sofa that takes centre stage in this room! Matching sidelamps and a central framed mirror adds to the balance of this space and we love the mix of textures and colours that bring a quirky edge to the interior.
The bathroom is bold and black. The black gloss paint on the walls adds to the drama of this fabulous space. Mirror subway tiles and checkered floors complete the luxe look here.
