Elegantly reimagined by Dutch couple Sarina and Gerald van Engelen, today the beautiful Victorian property, originally a farmhouse from 1860, is an elegant boutique guesthouse, welcoming travellers from around the globe.
“We visited Cape Town in 2019 after the birth of our first daughter and fell in love with this charming city, with its fresh ocean air, towering mountains and white sand beaches,” says the owners of their decision to open a guesthouse.
“One year later, still mesmerized by our experience, we packed up our lives in the Netherlands and made a life of adventure our future – becoming Cape Town residents and boutique hotel owners in one move.”
In the shadow of Table Mountain, the luxury guesthouse is perfectly located in the heart of the Mother City, affording guests magnificent views and easy access to all the city has to offer.
The enchanting property has been thoughtfully updated, blending contemporary flair with Victorian charm to create an inviting ambience.
This includes the beautiful bathrooms for which the owners turned to Victorian Bathrooms for help in capturing the essence of the Victorian period. “We are proud to have supplied the bathroomware for this project. Featuring our Britannia Collection of tapware in chrome, along with our Manhattan bath, Noah House’s design features a true blend of modern and classic,” says Victorian Bathrooms.
