Easter Inspiration For Your Home Decor
We love beautiful imagery that tells a story. This Easter, we’re feeling inspired as we bring you the beautiful styling of Nadine Greeff, a professional food photographer and stylist based in Cape Town. Nadine has photographed 12 cookbooks, primarily for European and USA authors and publishers.
Today her images are inspiring our own magical Easter moments. Organic materials, natural textures, pretty foliage and Nadine’s love of colour influence and bring atmosphere to her brighter and lighter images.
Nadine is largely inspired by the chiaroscuro style of the Dutch Masters, using the contrast of light and dark to guide the viewer’s eye. Although this technique is associated with oil paintings of the Renaissance era, Nadine brings a unique approach of natural light and mood to her photography.
Excited by the shadows, light, mood, colours and textures, she styled and photographed these beautiful pictures. Nadine’s work can be a great inspiration for your Easter table. You can mix pretty florals with broken eggshells for a raw, natural and fanciful Easter decor display. For height, you can add your display to an upside mug as a base. Place a solid plate on the top and gently add your display in the centre of your plate on your Easter table.
We also love the styling of succulents with fresh fragrant flowers in bright colours such as yellow and purple. A beautiful composition – like a work of art, that will not take too much time to style for your own Easter celebrations this year!
