Dubai Design Week Opens
Dubai Design Week, held in strategic partnership with Dubai Design District (d3) and supported by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), is the region’s largest design festival, reflecting Dubai’s position as the design capital of the Middle East. This year, it brings together over 500 designers from the region and beyond.
Everyone from design professionals to families can enjoy a diverse programme of free activities and experiences including exhibitions, immersive installations, talks and workshops, the weekend marketplace and the 10th edition of Downtown Design, the region’s leading design fair.
Downtown Design
Taking place at the d3 Waterfront, explore the latest collections and product launches from the world’s most iconic brands and designers, showcasing furniture, lighting and homeware. Register here.
Installations
Over 30 large-scale installations by architects, designers and creatives are featured across d3, demonstrating the boundless possibilities of what can be achieved through imagination and design.
Talks and Workshops
Attend over 70 talks, workshops, panel discussions and masterclasses led by industry specialists from across the world, delving into all design disciplines from across the world.
Exhibitions
Explore eight exhibitions including the d3 Architecture Exhibition, the UAE Designer Exhibition, The Royal College of Art Showcase, Colab’s materials library and 100/100 Best Hundred Arabic Posters by 421.
The Marketplace
Dubai’s most popular street market will showcase stands from over 80 creatives and local F&B brands, as well as workshops offering an educational and insightful platform for all the family to engage.
Tarahum – For Gaza
In response to the devastating events happening in the region, many of the designers and participants of Dubai Design Week will be offering their work to raise funds for the Emirates Red Crescent.
