Celebrity Homes: Jessica Alba Takes Us Inside Her Glorious LA Home
Hollywood actress and entrepreneur Jessica Alba is no stranger to the world of movies, skincare and business. As a wife and mom of three, Jessica’s beautiful Californian residence is more than just a base – it is wonderful home for her growing family.
Jessica, together with her husband, Cash Warren, knew exactly what they were looking for when they first entered this large LA home. After a short tour, they knew they had to have this home. Jessica enlisted the design team from Clements Design to help bring her interior visions to life.
The mother-son design team of Kathleen and Tommy Clements took up the role with grace and excitement. They found Jessica to be very decisive in knowing what she wanted and envisioned for her home. She was naturally drawn to organic materials, natural fibres and fabrics including hemp textures, and reclaimed wood.
In order to create a more flowing family zone, designers modified the original ground-floor plan, opening the former family room up to the kitchen. The reno took about 18 months to complete. They also blew out the back of the house and installed a folding glass wall that opened up the space to the incredible view.
Throughout the entirety of Jessica Alba’s home, you’ll notice a blend a French country with some Parisian flair. This is perhaps most evident in the living room. It’s no wonder that Jessica’s Pinterest boards are filled with this style, which she hoped would translate into her new family abode.
Today, the nearly 9,000-square-foot house features seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Overall is it on a 1.85-acre property. But more important than the size, this home is lived-in and perfect for the kids. As a mom, this was therefore, one of her main priorities.
