Boca do Lobo Presents A Royal Central Apartment, Dublin
This royal central apartment is both eclectic and unique. It was designed for a professional couple who had previously used Kris Turnbull Studios to design their traditional country house in Northern Ireland. The apartment was completely rebuilt from scratch and the result is a fashionable one-bedroom home with beautiful views.
This exquisite Grade II listed property features 4m high ceilings. It makes the most of stunning views overlooking The Grand Canal. Boca do Lobo developed a contemporary interior scheme for this home. The aim was to complement the original architectural features of high windows, architraves and ceiling cornices. Specialist finishes thus enhance the classic nature of the property.
Here you’ll find bespoke joinery and refined furniture pieces. Together this creates a balance between traditional and more modern elements of design.
A rich and inspired interior
The home is beautifully layered with delicate fabrics, carefully curated accessories and intriguing artwork. This thereby creates a rich and warm home away from home. In fact, it feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Dublin.
A black and white marble corridor leads us into the central living room. The space is alive and warm – an inviting room with a classic fireplace that contrasts with the contemporary lines of a curvy sofa. At the centre of the space, you find Boca do Lobo’s Wave Center Table.
Wave is an original. It, therefore, serves as a stylish coffee table for a modern living room. In addition, it is also an unconventional centre table for your sitting room and brings with it an element of regality.
Depth and grandeur
Golden finishes bring depth and grandeur to this home. Moving to more private areas, such as the main bedroom and the bathroom, a royal and eclectic style is more present. Furthermore, this is evident in the curtains, for example, and in the bathroom aesthetic. The Master Bedroom thus crosses a classic and “princess” look with a modern design. It successfully incorporates sober colours and bespoke furniture.
Furthermore, the bathroom is fully covered in marble and gold. This elevates the space with bespoke furniture and takes it to a more luxurious level.
