Annie Sloan’s The Colourist is Now Available in South Africa
“To launch a magazine full of colour-filled inspiration has always been a dream of mine!” -Annie Sloan
The Colourist is a unique Bookazine dedicated to Annie Sloan’s passion for colour. Annie has written 26 books in her distinguished career, but The Colourist is her first venture into the world of print magazines
The Colourist is a bi-annual Bookazine publication (bigger than a magazine, smaller than a book), which will be available from October 2018 in South Africa. Each collectable issue will feature 132 carefully curated pages bound in a covetable cover.
Inside, you’ll find interviews with creatives Annie admires; discover beautiful furniture Annie loves; sneak peeks inside homes that inspire Annie; and travel to off-the-beaten-track destinations Annie has explored. You’ll find out how to enter Annie’s competition and win a complete room revamp including paint, fabrics, stencils, brushes and more. Each issue will also feature a range of Chalk Paint® projects, for all abilities from absolute amateurs to confident creatives, with easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions.
The first issue will include an exclusive free stencil designed by Annie Sloan with a step-by-step guide by Felix Sloan, to show you how to create a masterpiece of your own at home!
Annie’s Bookazine is for anyone who wants to escape to a colourful refuge for an hour or two, find artistic inspiration, or use Annie’s step-by-step guides to transform their own furniture. More than an Interiors magazine, The Colourist will tickle your intellect, arm you with the tools to be your own Interior Designer, and inspire you to upcycle your own furniture – all whilst looking beautiful on your coffee table.
The Colourist will be available to purchase through Annie’s global network of Stockists. R240 incl VAT in South Africa.
For each edition of The Colourist, Annie will create a colour palette using the Chalk Paint® range. The inaugural publication will have a pink and green colour scheme; Annie has chosen Antibes Green, Scandinavian Pink and Antoinette to set the tone.
Be sure to follow and post about The Colourist on social media using #ColouristMag, and of course #AnnieSloan and #ChalkPaint.
