The Tile House: Inspired Bathroom Ideas With Chevron Tiles

Chevron tiles in the bathroom are a great way to add flair and appeal without going over the top. We asked the experts from The Tile House to share some great ideas using chevron to create an inspired bathroom.

Chevron certainly adds a little definition to the bathroom. The zig-zag shape alone is enough to draw the eye in and add a designer flair to any space, no matter the size. Whether you have an enormous family bathroom, or a tiny guest loo, a simple chevron wall or floor will add modern appeal to uplift the room with ease.

Take for example this master bathroom with chevron wall in darker grey and a light grey / off white grout which extends right down the feature wall and to the floors. Not only does this add modern colour and texture to the bathroom, but the delicate pattern gives a sleek and sophisticated edge to this space… perfect in a streamlined or even Scandi home, which can be accessorised with neutrals or pops of colour.

White chevron tiling is always a winner. Use it as a backsplash behind your basin, or be bold and tile an entire statement wall in your bathroom. Take a look at this crisp white bathroom (featured below) for some inspiration. A round framed mirror adds another dimention to this space with mounted pendants on the wall for added illumination.

Another hot trend this season is a Marble-look chevron pattern – which certainly adds a little luxury to this bathroom floor (see below). The many tones and colours present in the tiles adds some texture and vibrancy to this space. Things are kept bright and inviting with a light palette of whites and neutrals here.

For timeless elegance that won’t easily fade, use a simple white chevron pattern on all of the walls (see below). This will add to the harmonious feel of the bathroom and lend the space a playful touch. Instead of straight-cut tiles, a simple chevron adds flair and will certainly make for a memorable bathroom experience. Add a quirky touch with patterned flooring in colours and designs of your choice.
