Bathroom trends in 2024 with Geberit
Bathroom trends in 2024 emphasis is on sustainability, technology, and luxurious comfort. It goes without saying that of course in Geberit style, we cater to every need.
This is how we observe trends:
Sustainability.
The efficient and sparing use of water has been a hot topic in the bathroom and quickly became important. With the right product selection, significant water savings can be achieved in the bathroom.
6 to 9 litres of drinking water end up in the toilet on average with each flush. By using dual-flush volume with our Geberit Sigma actuator plates, you can reduce the small flush to below 3 litres.
Around one-third of daily water consumption in the home is caused by the toilet flush. With efficient flush technology tailored optimally to the WC ceramic appliance, the required flush volume can be drastically reduced.
All our products have been consistently developed according to the eco-design principle: Every new product should be ecologically better than its predecessor – without compromising on quality, functionality or durability. All stages of the product life cycle are considered, from raw material extraction to disposal.
Smart bathrooms.
The Geberit AquaClean Shower toilets combine convenience, design with quality to create aesthetics and innovative solutions for the bathroom. To be frank, when it comes to hygiene, rinsing with water will always surpass a brief wiping with paper. Of course, you wash your hands after using the toilet, but how about down below? Wouldn’t it be cleaner and gentler to use water here too rather than wiping ourselves with dry paper? At the touch of a button, Geberit shower toilets clean you with a warm shower spray to keep your bottom as clean as your hands.
Geberit Connect is another future-oriented platform for networking sanitary appliances that allows users to benefit from comprehensive and economical operation of their sanitary installations. An extensive range of Geberit products can be integrated into the networked system. This means it can either be connected to a building automation system or controlled centrally via Geberit Gateway.
Aesthetics and bold accents.
Our Wall-hung washbasin cabinets that are suspended above the floor are a good idea. These have become an integral part of the bathroom. Products integrated in the wall, such as mirror cabinets, create special design moments – including in small rooms.
“Matt ceramic surfaces and colours are not as reflective. The bathroom then appears warmer and more homely,” explains a Geberit designer. In terms of design, there is an increasing trend towards individualism. Whether in terms of colour, furniture or material, the choices are almost endless – and result in exclusive, unique design moments. At Geberit, bathroom furniture and washbasins from different series can be combined with each other according to personal wishes thanks to the “Mix & Match “principle. This allows for a wide range of design combinations.
