Neolith: Good as Gold

Continuing its 2017 winning streak, Neolith Nero Marquina by TheSize has received its fourth award. Following its success with a Red Dot, Interzum and Muuuz award, Nero Marquina now has a Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Award 2017 to add to its growing list of accolades. The surface achieved a gold standard in the Innovation in Materials category.

Rewarding the very best talent in the industry, the Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards 2017 are judged by experienced and highly respected industry figures. Each submission is subject to a rigorous set of criteria to single out exceptionally original and creative products and design. The individuality and singularity of Nero Marquina ensured it stood out in this hotly contested category.

Nero Marquina is a crowning achievement for TheSize from a technical perspective. Influenced by Spanish marble, the décor successfully achieves a brilliant white veining on a jet black background. Achieving the aesthetic was a challenge since maintaining a bright white veining that does not dull on a pure black backdrop during the production process meant TheSize had to enter a new technical avenue. Nero Marquina’s Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Award is testimony to TheSize’s achievement and Neolith’s innovative Digital Design (NDD) decoration technique.
