Italtile New Product Launch | The Seattle Range from Spain.
Italtile first to bring the Metal Effect tile trend to South Africa. Introducing Seattle. The alchemy of mirror, metal and stoneware.
2023’s Cersaie edition showcased some of the most thrilling porcelain tile concepts we’ve seen in a long time. Patterns, 3D textures, tinctures and effects proliferated at every manufacturer’s stand. But perhaps the boldest of all the new looks, thanks to pioneering digital processes, is the metal tile aesthetic.
Tiles with metallic tones and metal accents are being developed to bounce light and create an almost experiential shimmer in both residential and commercial spaces. And Italtile is first to bring the Metal Effect tile trend to South Africa with Seattle, a unique Spanish tile range that pushes the boundaries of what a one-dimensional porcelain tile surface can achieve.
Seattle is truly the alchemy of mirror, metal and porcelain stoneware, captured in a sustainable elemental fusion that takes science and engineering into the realms of imagination and fantasy. The result is the creation of a unique ‘steel rainbow’ – the many shimmering moods of metal on each tile. Seattle will bring dramatic, almost muscular ‘movement’ to walls and floors – more art installation than tile installation – that reacts in spectacular fashion to the play of light in a space throughout the day and night.
How to categorise a tile that needs its own category? Perhaps the term Industrial Chic best describes Seattle’s aesthetic, with its next level, high-gloss, multi-metallic mirror shimmer that has no equal in South Africa.
Large format Seattle is available in deep, dark Lead and lighter, brighter Silver. Both remarkable colourways will elevate any Urban or Modernist space with an appetite for talkability.
Specifications:
This is a 600 x 1200 porcelain lappato rectified tile. The normal large format minimum joints can be butt-jointed on walls, following correct installation spec.
Seattle is made in Spain and is exclusive to Italtile.
