Duravit’s Architec – A Solution For All Floor Plans
Aesthetics and functionality are key characteristics of the Architec series by Duravit: Modern tubs, bidets, urinals & washbasins developed by Prof. Frank Huster.
“Architec stays true to clear lines and a restrained style, which stand it in good stead for a long product life and sustainability in the best sense of the word,” said Prof. Frank Huster, who developed the ceramic range in conjunction with Duravit 25 years ago.
For barrier-free applications: Architec Vital Med washbasin 575 mm x 520 mm with an integrated, glazed grip that makes it easier for wheelchair users to pull themselves up to the washbasin with just one hand.
The architec’s design relies on the fundamental architectural elements of the circle and square. The basic architectural elements – the circle and the square – were the inspiration behind the Architec collection.
This range of luxury ceramic sanitaryware with its impactful, geometric lines includes countertop and corner basins, wall-mounted and freestanding bowls. Both then and now, Architec provides solutions for any floor plan. A particular highlight is the diagonal washbasin, which not only fits perfectly into small guest bathrooms, but also offers generous storage space.
Built into wood: Architec vanity basin Ø 400 mm with tap platform
The Architec Vital washbasin with its all-round, integrated, ergonomic grip provides additional comfort in barrier-free bathrooms, too. Enabling varied combination options with wood or glass, the classic Architec design has also been causing a stir in projects such as the residential complex “Reflections at Keppel Bay” in Singapore or the Harpa Concert Hall in Iceland.
Toilet & bidet:
