Duravit: Relax With A View of The Mediterranean
How about a little island downtime? The “Pure Salt Garonda” is an adults-only hotel at Playa de Palma that was fully renovated in 2015 and is a perfect setting for a spot of relaxation.
The five-star hotel is an example of the Mallorcan urban beach trend: with its location directly on the urban beach and spacious garden, the hotel offers a serene counterpole to bustling Palma – yet the town is just a stone’s throw away.
After its renovation, the hotel now offers even greater levels of comfort with a total of 149 rooms in a contemporary design, two bars, direct beach access and its own spa area. The free-standing Happy D.2 bathtub in the rooms provides for a luxurious break.
The renovation was carried out by the company Zanobia Arquitecture, which has been refitting landmark buildings in the old town of Palma since 1988. The group of international technicians is known for luxurious new buildings, hotel renovations and much more.
The aim of the commission was to give the hotel a facelift both inside and out, lending it a unique new look. Today the beach hotel is a paradigm of Mediterranean architecture.
Whether city break or beach holiday – after a long day there is nothing better than relaxing in a nice bath. In the Happy D.2 bathtub from Duravit, you can enjoy a unique view of the Mediterranean. The timeless form of the bathtub, created by sieger design, blends seamlessly into the contemporary interior of the hotel. Stylish wooden details breathe life into the airy rooms, lending them that extra cosiness – just the right atmosphere for a little me-time.
