Victorian Bathrooms: Kramerville’s Design District
Victorian Bathrooms recently unveiled their brand-new showroom in Kramerville’s Design District in Johannesburg.
Known for its exquisite designer sanitary ware, taps and fixtures, the store is home to loved classics and new favourites, including the Arte Collection of taps and mixers, inspired by 1920s geometric and cubic styles, the custom-developed Manhattan single basin stand with shelf in a bespoke aged nickel finish and a new exposed thermostatic shower mixer from the classic Britannia Collection.
The airy new showroom at Nr6 Kramer Road replaces the Victorian Bathrooms store in Hyde Park.
“After 22 amazing years at Hyde Park Corner we have relocated to the Kramerville Design Precinct where you will find us in a much larger and brighter space stocked with a vast range of bathroom products and accessories,” says the company.
“These spacious premises display a range of artfully curated bathroom ware, accessories, soaps and scents, all providing inspiration for your next project.”
Visitors to the new store can expect gorgeous displays showcasing the latest products, including a masculine high-contrast Arcade display.
“The Arcade display is full of soft lined ceramic ware, crisp and white, contrasted against a dark green wall with mouldings to add texture. This display presents a masculine demeanour, strong yet soft,” explains Victorian Bathrooms.
And a beautiful Modern Classic monochrome display that perfectly encapsulates the company’s timeless design style.
“We continue to elevate and evolve our designs, pushing the envelope to sharpen our concepts and remain relevant,” they explain. “Our Modern Classic display features terrazzo vinyl flooring from @evalutionflooring_ and our white Kit Kat tiles on the wall. The illuminated 900 mm round mirrors are the centrepiece of this setting, creating softness amongst the hard edges. The walk-in shower is enclosed with glass from @showerline_shower_doors and cladded with @neolith.southafrica adding a clean and seamless finish. These modern features are paired with our Britannia Collection of tapware in a brushed nickel finish and black indices.”
