Geberit’s Water-saving Techniques
Imagine saving the world with just a toilet flush!!
Without water, there is no life. However, this invaluable resource is becoming increasingly scarce. Just how much does a toilet flush use? What many people don’t know is that around a third of the amount of water consumed every day in households is attributable to toilet flushing. After all, an average of six to nine litres of water flow into the sewage system with each individual flush.
At Geberit, we saw it fit to develop a water-saving toilet flush through our innovative TurboFlush technology. Geberit designers have found that optimal flushing of a toilet must simply lie in the heart of these Geberit Systems.
Geberit WCs such as the Geberit Acanto WC clearly demonstrate our TurboFlush Technology. The asymmetrical geometry with two guiding edges guides the flow of water spirally through the ceramic appliance in a powerful whirlwind. Thanks to the optimised way in which the flow of water is guided, TurboFlush minimises the amount of cleaning required.
Paired with Geberit concealed cistern, and our worldclass dual actuator plate, the required flush volume is reduced to 2.6 litres for the small flush and 4 litres for the large flush. Now that is a big save!!
