Fabri Design Attitude

This gorgeous two-storey home in Glenashley, KwaZulu-Natal is beautiful and modern thanks to the finishing touches produced by the Fabri team.

This 2000m2 residence is large and inviting. It was cleverly built on a terrace to make the most of the surrounding sea views and a natural reserve. The contemporary architecture of this home features floor to ceiling glass doors that open up completely and a large living room that leads out towards a garden and swimming pool.

We love the open plan layout with glass everywhere – warmly embracing the outdoors and creating a light-filled interior. A streamlined design keeps things sleek and minimalist. In the kitchen seamless cabinetry creates a uniform and contemporary look with glass and aluminium windows that welcome in the views from outside without any obstructions.

White is the obvious colour of choice here. We can see why the designers opted for a minimalist approach here so that the exterior becomes the focal point, along with a beautifully simple and sleek interior design.

Ample storage has been incorporated into this stylish kitchen with handle-less doors to complement the sleek aesthetic. Under-counter cabinets provide a bulk of the storage in this kitchn but we also notice taller cabinets and a massive centre island for ease of use and added storage and preparation space.

Shutters allow for adjustment of light in the scullery area. A bold area rug adds a hint of colour here too and we love the blend of modern appliances with the all-white surrounds. Beautiful counters add to the seamless look of elegance in this space.

The rest of the home, with living spaces, is a mix of comfort and style with lofty couches for relaxation around the television. Things are kept simple with a muted colour palette and hints of tone with colourful rugs and added greenery used throughout.

A custom bar area appears as a centrepiece in this home. Beautiful finishes make this a dreamy space – with bottles beautifully on display as feature items here.

One look at the bathroom and we can’t help but feel drawn in by the luxurious finishes and sheer size of this special retreat. We love the oversized mirror which adds a touch of metallic glam to this space.

High ceilings, crystal chandelier and custom cabinetry add to the feel of elegance and distinction in this striking home. We love how all the finishing touches work together so effortlessly.
