Villeroy & Boch: Classic Old Luxembourg meets modern Bavarian cuisine
“A modern Bavarian inn” – is how the newly opened Servus Heidi restaurant in the west of Munich describes itself. The former Augustinian tavern is more than a traditional alehouse, it has been loving renovated and boasts a stylishly modern interior. Traditional favourites still feature on the menu, such as Weißwurst (white sausage), Obazdn (a cheese dish) and Hendl (roast chicken), promising a real treat for all lovers of hearty fare.
All dishes are served on a real Villeroy & Boch classic, Alt Luxemburg. The delicate pattern with the blue flowering twigs is one of the most successful and best-known collections and coordinates harmoniously with the restaurant’s overall concept.
Designed in Luxembourg in the middle of the 18th century, the historic porcelain with its timeless “Brindille” pattern combines tradition and zeitgeist in the same way as Servus Heidi, which brings together the finest Bavarian cuisine with modern interior design. The extensive Alt Luxemburg range includes different sizes of plates, a separate coffee service as well as dishes, bowls and square plates. Villeroy & Boch is one of the world’s leading premium brands for ceramic products. The family business, which was founded in 1748 and is headquartered in Mettlach/Germany, stands for innovation, tradition and exceptional style. As a renowned lifestyle brand, Villeroy & Boch offers products from the sectors Bathroom and Wellness and Tableware, and is active in 125 countries.
