I have no formal fine art education, but learned from a few art teachers over the years. Previously I painted in watercolour and acrylic, but it is oil colours that I find rewarding to work with.

Things that are beautiful to me, is where I find my inspiration. Portraits, Flowers and Still life with a vintage feel, is mostly where the inspiration takes me.

I am the owner and founder of Grapedoor where we manufacture luxury designer doors since 2003. Before 2003 I had a small Interior Decorating business which was a stepping stone to the door manufacturing business. During my younger adult years, I was a teacher in special education.

Other interests that I have are Interior Decorating, Gardening and then of course my dogs. The schnauzer is a breed very close to my heart and I breed with the rare Pepper and Salt Giant Schnauzer. My dogs are my companions whether I work, paint, cook, work in the garden or relax with my husband at home on a small holding where we live.
