Metal Windows Presents House Henley, Sir Lowry’s Pass Village
Today we step inside a magnificent home decked out in beautiful metal windows. This is House Henley in Sir Lowry’s Pass Village.
On a raised plot overlooking a beautiful dam with spectacular views over False Bay and the surrounding mountains, sits a contemporary farmhouse. Newly designed and built for a horse rider and her family, this home sits at the foot of Sir Lowry’s Pass on the Knorhoek Estate.
Bronwyn Kuttel, Metal Windows consultant and sales person –worked closely with the customer, architect Matthew Randall and builder Lennie Purcell, throughout the project to achieve a truly stunning result.
A combination of Forman Brand Steel and Aluminium windows and door products were chosen to complement the utility of various areas of the house.
In all the 5 upstairs bedrooms and in the main lounge, Aluminium doors and windows were used. The rest of the house, including the front door, lobby, kitchen and braai room all have Forman Brand Steel frames.
To streamline the aesthetic, all frames are black to complement each other and the natural timber trim and joinery. For the Aluminium items, a small pane look was created by using colonial bars to tie in with the steel items.
The end result is a beautiful home on a pristine location. We love the modern feel with trendy metal windows and doors for a contemporary edge.
