Marie-Louise Koen is a New York City based, Cape Town born Artist and Interior Designer.

Kick starting and self-launching her career as an artist in 2017 her work has been well received internationally, across both NYC and South Africa.

Marie-Louise gets her inspiration predominantly from female form and expression and is an active participant in the feminist movement evident in her subject matter. Working as an interior designer in NYC her inspiration for color and expression is often derived from her close environments and her bright bold art is often a direct correlation to her interiors work, blurring the lines between both creative fields and using design and art as forms of creative inspiration, off- playing each other respectively.
