Sotran emerged as a prominent brand in the solid wood niche in 2003 through the fusion of Turtle House and Once Upon A Time Antiques, located in a quaint store adjacent to Wetherleys in Boksburg. Initially focused on handcrafted wooden furniture and décor from Indonesia, Sotran swiftly expanded its offerings to include carefully curated pieces from India, China, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Now, 21 years since its inception, Sotran continues to adapt to evolving trends and tastes, remaining steadfast in its commitment to sustainable practices and the timeless allure of natural, organic timber and elements.
