Behind the interior design of this beautiful Bryanston residence, is the ancient architectural science of Vastu Shastra, a set of Indian design principles that bring balance and harmony to a home.
For the master bedroom, DIYgirls chose calming shades of green, which represents fertility and healing according to Vastu Shastra. The formal lounge, with its mid-century modern look and feel, repeats the green-and-brown combination of the main bedroom, mimicking nature, and in the otherwise neutral dining room, red and orange accents symbolise passion, vitality, and communication.
