'Tranquil Upliftment' shows a seaweed farm on the east coast of Zanzibar. The tide has pulled back, revealing hundreds of metres worth of underwater seaweed farms that are being replanted for the next harvest. The slow shutter speed is what gives this landscape those soft, pastel, paint-like tones. Bright, subdued or even dark, whatever style room you decide to hang this in, it will bring a feeling of light. Almost as if a window to Zanzibar has been opened.
