WOOLABLE SHEEP OF THE WORLD
by
CLM Home
The simple, minimalist design of the Steppe Rug consists of a low pile wool surface cut across by rows of extra-short pile that provide a subtle striped pattern. The edges are finished with a strip of bare cotton canvas, that frays into tousled fringes under a narrow line of tufted wool, in a contrasting colour.
The wool is undyed and owes its natural hues to sheep of various origins from around the world, such as the Russian grey. As in all the Sheep of the World collection, the Steppe Rug includes a 20% proportion of New Zealand wool.
About CLM Home
Previously known as Clever Little Monkey, SA’s premier baby and kids store has been delighting parents and kids alike for 15 years with exclusively designed decor, bedding and functional furniture. As the pioneers in the kid’s industry celebrate their 15th birthday in September, they have decided to grow with their audience into a full home furniture, bedding & decor offering from babies, through the kids years and reaching into adult home design.
Well-known for their convertible cots that turn into toddler beds, Clever Little Monkey will now offer a full baby, kids and home collection of furniture and decor, including the full ranges of popular international brands Vox Furniture and Lorena Canals, which they distribute across SA.
“As we are growing up, so is our audience, and we are thrilled to announce that we are now able to continue delivering exclusive, original and functional designs beyond nurseries and kids rooms,” said the founder of Clever Little Monkey and CLM Chief Executive Officer Yulande Roxburgh. “Together we are creating an opportunity that not only creates a full easy-to-style collection to grow as your needs grow, but CLM will also showcase more proudly South African designs that are handmade and locally manufactured closer to home than we realize.”
