Introducing New Muuto Spring Novelties

Muuto presents their latest Spring novelties for the seasons ahead, including the relaunch of one of their favourite products.

The Fiber Chair

For Spring 2022, Muuto is relaunching one of their most popular designs—the Fiber Chair. But this time, this chair boasts a shell made in recycled plastic and FSC™-certified wood fibres.

Firstly introduced in 2014, the Fiber Chair Family designed by Iskos-Berlin was born from a wish to do a forward-thinking take on the archetypal shell chair. This resulted in the creation of an innovative shell of plastic and wood fibres that makes for a soft inviting touch with a matte and tactile surface.

Now, Muuto is excited to present the new generation of the Fiber Chair. In 2022, it is relaunched with its design from a conscious perspective and a wish to improve environmental impact.

As such, Muuto introduces this modern, yet timeless chair in a recycled (yet strong and tactile) material. It may seem like an ambitious starting point, but it is a way to become more circular in their consumption of raw material.

“As part of our sustainable initiatives, we wish to increase our use of recycled materials in order to lower our consumption of natural resources and reduce waste.”

By switching to recycled plastic Muuto expects to save more than 50 tons of virgin plastic in 2022.

The Fiber Chair makes a versatile piece of furniture with range, at home and in a professional environment.

Kink Vase

In line with this year’s Pantone’s 2022 Colour of the Year, Muuto is also introducing the iconic Kink Vase in a new Dusty Lilac colour.

The Kink Vase by Earnest Studio, brings a contemporary form to the archetypal flower vase. It does so through a combination of traditional craftsmanship and playful design language. Use the vase on its own as a sculptural feature or with a bunch of colourful blossoms that invites the Spring season in!
