What a wonderful weekend idea. Lets make some brownies with Illovo’s Chocolate Sauce and Chocolate Mint Sauce.
Polka Dot Brownies
150ml Illovo Chocolate Sauce
50ml Illovo Chocolate Mint Sauce
1 ½ cups Illovo Brown Sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder, sifted
1 ¼ cups flour, sifted
1/3 tsp baking powder
- Preheat the oven to 180˚C. Place the Illovo Chocolate Sauce and butter in a small saucepan over low heat and stir until melted. Set aside to cool. Place the Illovo Brown Sugar, eggs, cocoa, flour and baking powder into a large bowl.
- Pour over the cooked Illovo Chocolate Sauce mixture and mix well. Stir in the Illovo Chocolate Mint Sauce. Pour into a lightly greased square tin lined with non-stick baking powder. Bake for 50 minutes or until cooked when tested with a skewer.
- Mix all icing ingredients together until smooth. Spread over cooled cake and cut into squares and decorate.
