Marcia Loves It has been nominated for The Amara Interior Blog Awards, which comes at such a great time while we celebrate women’s empowerment, drive, creativity and confidence for the month of August in South Africa. The notification was a great surprise for us and vote of confidence for the work we’re doing. The Amara Interior Blog Awards celebrates and engages with the most authoritative and well respected bloggers in the vast interior blogging industry. They find that bloggers are an integral part of the interior design community and believe in giving back to the vibrant community and award them for all of their amazing work. The concept was first introduced in 2013 and includes a series of phases throughout a three month period from nominations and voting to shortlisting and the project culminates in an annual awards ceremony attended by the shortlisted bloggers, sponsors and judges. The expert judging panel have the final say on the winning blogs and each year the panel consists of members of leading organisations and established figures within many interior related fields. The judging panel consists of successful and creative woman, such as creative director and head buyer at Amara, head of creative at Farrow and Ball, Charlotte Cosby and London based designer and interiors journalist Claudia Baillie. This nod of excellence is close to our hearts as we are passionate about the industry, the clients we get to support on a daily basis and the growing community we are building. What a great achievement to be noticed and what a prestigious event to be part of. Thanks for the continuous support, interaction and warmth. Voting opens today – we would love for you to help us get shortlisted.
