Bathed in natural light and framed by ocean views, the residence unfolds in layers of tone and texture. Soft oak timber flooring grounds the space in natural warmth, while Carrara marble and hand-glazed tiles reflect the shifting daylight. The palette, a restrained blend of whites, warm greys, and sandy neutrals, evokes the landscape just beyond the glass, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out.

The design moves fluidly between heritage and modernity. Walls were opened to let the home exhale, revealing sightlines that draw the eye toward the sea. Large sliding doors dissolve the threshold between interior and terrace, letting the ocean breeze become part of the architecture. Every detail feels intentional, every finish considered – a study in how subtle design can feel both grounded and weightless.

In the kitchen, off-white cabinetry contrasts gently with marble benchtops, while custom joinery and built-in cabinetry by Black Pearl Interiors bring order and refinement to the open plan. Throughout, handwoven rugs, brass fixtures, and locally crafted accents add soul and texture, anchoring the modern serenity in a sense of place.
