The Salone del Mobile 2015 is due to take place in Milan from the 14th to the 19th of April, and has already premièred in Brussels, London and Hamburg with a series of conferences for over 90 journalist from the most prestigious European periodicals. The new features of the 54th edition – which looks like it’s already sold out- were illustrated by Roberto Snaidero, President of the Salone del Mobile and Federlegno Arredo Eventi, Giovanni De Ponti, CEO of Federlegno Arredo Eventi, Marco Predari, President of Assufficio, Stefano Bordone, President of Assoluce and Vittorio Livi, Vice President of Assarredo. The SaloneUfficio has undergone a name change and has now been coined Workplace3.0. Fiera Milano, Rho boasts two exciting events for the pavilion. While The Walk, by Michele De Lucchi, comprises of a project dedicated to new concepts of the workplace and new design demands. In Italy is a project that boasts a video installation and story, five apartments, five cities, 80 Italian companies as well as an app. Three guest designers, designers: Xavier Lust, Nigel Coates and Sebastian Herkner, will host a conference where they discuss their experiences collaborating Italian manufacturers; this will be moderated by journalists Aude de la Conté, Nick Vinson and Robert Volhard.
