The number of seats is limited the online booking system opens on 7 October at 8 PM. sharp, meaning one needs to be quick in order to lay their hands on one of the seats in the nation’s finest restaurants. luckily, diners are already offered the opportunity to skip the queue by registering on www.restaurantweek.co.za as a VIP, in order to get priority access to the booking system. VIPs are granted access one week prior to the general public, on 1 October. International success Restaurant Week has been a success in many countries in Europe and Asia and is bound to win the hearts of South Africans too. The list of confirmed restaurants for Restaurant Week South Africa 2013 includes renowned venues such as le Ouartier Francais, Planet at the Mount Nelson, Buitenverwachting and Grande Provence. The event is organised by DiningCity.co.za and supported by official partners American Express, Good Fellas, Master Menus, Peroni, SO WIFI, SAfm and the South African Chefs Association. Part of the revenue will be donated to the World Chefs Tour Against Hunger, a charity fund that feeds over 7,000 children daily across the country.
