Peanut and banana Smoothie

This is one of the best Illovo Sugar smoothie combos! It’s a winner for kids with a sweet tooth because it’s so healthy! Quick and easy as a morning breakfast-on-the-go or afternoon pick me up, it’s a delicious snack for our active little ones. Try it out, it’s sure to be a new favourite!

Ingredients: 1. 1 cup low-fat milk 2. 1 ripe banana 3. 1 – 2 tsp Illovo Maple Syrup 4. 2 tbsp crunchy or smooth peanut butter
Instructions: Add all ingredients to a blender and blend well. Add a few blocks of ice to the blender for extra chill. Pour into glasses and serve. Makes 2 small smoothies. Tip: Peel the banana and place in a zip lock bag and freeze overnight to add extra creaminess. *Alternatively, you can freeze the bananas in rounds, then add the syrup and peanut butter and only a tablespoon of milk and blend them all together to make a scrumptious sorbet too…Magic!
