Meet fabric connoisseur and décor extraordinaire Tanya Sturgeon – the proud owner of T&CO Fabrics. As a fabric designer with a fine art background, Tanya’s initial venture was founded sixteen years ago, that is The Silk and Cotton Co. In 2008, she sold her business in a bid to get back to focussing on what she loved the most – fabrics, interior objets and beautiful pieces of furniture. Today, T&Co is managed by Tanya with the help of her daughter Khloe; the business is just a stone’s throw away from her first enterprise in Kramerville. The company, which stocks some of the world’s most impressive fabrics, is proud to announce that an array of brand new collections is now available, such as Thailand’s timeless Jim Thompson range for which T&Co is the sole supplier in South Africa. Not to mention, the ever-evolving designs of VANO from Belgium and Protugal’s finely-tuned Evo fabrics. Other new offerings include the elegant creations of the United Kingdom’s Ian Sanderson, and the chic patterns and simple designs of Spain’s Güell Lamadrid. Plus, T&Co has recently welcomed a variety of members to its ever-growing family, namely: WIND imported from Belgium, DECOBEL from Italy, Rasch from Germany and Pedroso & Osório from Portugal.
