Whether raffia, banana leaf, sisal, t-shirt yarn or locally produced synthetic cane, the skilled team of weavers at work through Fundi Lighting are master craftsmen, working with a variety of materials to produce beautiful, delicate and stylish items for your home.
Their popular substrate of locally produced high-quality 3mm round synthetic cane gives the same appearance as natural cane but is longer lasting and is considered a green product as it reduces the use of any threatened natural cane.
From eye-catching light pendants to stools, baskets and more, the beauty of woven products can be found in the very details that make up the overall structure of each unique piece. Delicate yet simple, hand-crafted yet of superior quality, Fundi Lighting’s synthetic cane is easy to clean and is fully UV stabilized making it 100% weather tolerant, allowing these products to be utilized for undercover patio areas and high traffic areas.
They stock four colours, namely white, natural, mocha and silver grey. Other colours are available upon request but need to be supported with volume orders.
